Because of this hadith and others, today I decided to read the entirety of Surah Qaf in my Friday khutba. It contains mention of death, resurrection, and Divine accountability - themes that seem particularly relevant given recent political news as well as the revival of the earth in springtime. I encourage all who read this to ponder over the meanings and signs brought forth in this blessed chapter of al-Qur'an al-Majid (The Glorious Qur'an).

Qaf Khutba
Umm Hashim bint Haritha (may Allah be well pleased with her) said, as recorded in Sahih Muslim: "I memorized Surah Qaf from the Holy Prophet (may Allah send him blessings and peace), who used to recite it every Friday while standing on the pulpit delivering the Friday sermon to the people."
